1. What carpet maintenance is required of the general householder?
Regular vacuuming is highly recommended. Make sure to vacuum your carpets, upholstered furniture and drapes al least once a week in order to keep abrasive dust particles down to a minimum. However, remember to ensure maximum removal of all harmful dust, mites and allergens, regular professional cleaning is essential.
2. How soon will I be able to walk on my carpet again?
Keep pets, children and regular traffic off the carpet for a period of six hours. Adults may use the carpet lightly immediately after cleaning by wearing socks or house slippers... Some carpets may still feel slightly damp for up to 18 hours depending on the carpet fiber type and soiling condition. This is normal and will not cause any problems.
3. How can I remove ugly stains from my very expensive carpets and rugs?
Many stubborn stains can be removed by wetting out the area and blotting up the stain. Care should be taken not to let the stain run onto a larger area. Always blot the wetted area with an absorbent paper towel or clean white cloth. Do not rub or brush as this can cause irreversible color running and pile damage as well as set the stain. Some stains cannot be removed using normal household cleansers. Do not treat stubborn stains with more vigorous mechanical action or potentially dangerous chemicals. Consult an expert. He will know what to do.
4. How safe are your cleaning and protection methods?
We use only the safest, most effective technology to assure not only your satisfaction, but your safety as well. We do not use any harsh chemicals nor will we leave any irritant residues.
5. Can you get the pet odor out of my carpet?
Pet odor is a very common problem that could be much more complex than on first impression. Pet urine can easily soak through the backing of the carpet into the padding underneath. In more severe cases the urine can penetrate into the sub-floor beneath the padding. This creates a problem that is multi-layered.
The urine also provides for the growth of bacteria. This in turn contributes to a worsening of the odor problem and can contribute to permanent color loss of the carpet fiber. To eliminate this problem, the urine must be removed or neutralized from each of the layers affected. If the contamination is limited to only the face yarn of the carpet then the cleaning itself may effectively remove the odor. In more severe cases a urine neutralizer may be applied.
In the most severe cases, replacement of the carpet padding, treatment of the under-side of the carpet and the sub-floor may be required. Even replacement of the carpet, however, can not guarantee complete removal of the odor.
6. How often do I need to have my upholstery cleaned?
Most upholstery should be professionally cleaned once every 18 – 24 months to avoid soil build up and staining.
7. How long will it take for my upholstery to dry after cleaning?
Drying times vary depending on the fabric of your upholstery. Most upholstery will dry within 2 – 4 hours after cleaning.
8. What cleaning method is best for upholstery?

These fabrics have to be cleaned by “dry” or “low moisture” cleaning methods. What are the fabrics that need delecate treatment.
